A Painful Accident.

Gus. North, a Swede, is an employe at work upon the new addition to the Eastman block, on Nicollet island. He was yesterday afternoon engaged in taking stone to a scaffolding on the second story, with a wheelbarrow, when, by some accident, the barrow got the advantage of him, and he was thrown from his position on the scaffolding down through the joist to the ground floor, the load of the wheelbarrow falling upon him. He was struck in the face and sustained serious cuts and bruises about his face and nose. Dr. Ames dressed the wounds, and the man is doing well. No bones were broken, and no very serious injuries about his limbs or body were received.
