Wars and Rumors of Wars.-The District is again full of "rumors of wars" between the ex-members of the ex-Cabinet. We are acquainted with some of the particulars, but choose to wait awhile. Mr. Eaton is disposed to show fight.- Mr. Ingham is not belligerent. Perhaps Mr. Berrien's mettle will be tried. Mr. Branch is too far off, or else he would be called upon to toe the mark. A precious set-a precious cause- and a precious piece of business, altogether!
Our little federal contemporary at Warrenton has thrust his spoon into the dish, but at present we are busy.--Richmond Whig.
Ditto to Mr. Burke "--Ed. Alex. Gaz.
The Globe talks of a "Holy Alliance" against General Jackson. True, there is a Holy Alliance against him, and that Holy Alliance is the People. Against this alliance, the unholy combination of Power and Corruption cannot make head.
