We take pleasure in adding to our subscription list this week the name of John H. Leathers, Esq., president of the Louisville National Banking Company, of Louisville, Ky. Mr. Leathers is an old Jefferson county boy, having been raised in Middleway, but has lived in Louisville since the close of the Civil War. During that great struggle he was a faithful soldier in the Second Virginia Regiment, Stonewall Brigade, and his old comrades will rejoice to know that he has prospered greatly in his adopted city. Mr. Leathers writes us that as he grows older his love for his native county and State and the people of his old home grows stronger, and he wants to know about his friends and acquaintances of other days through the home paper.
