Willie Jones, 221 Mound St. was fined $50 and costs by Chief Justice Paul Sherer in Municipal Court Friday on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was also given a suspended sentence of 60 days.
Others fined and sentenced were: James Beatty, 161 N. Orchard Ave., $50 and costs for driving while drunk; Homer Huff, 12-14 Bolander Ave., $50 and costs for violation of the drivers identification laws; Andrew Noland, 133 Connel Ave., Crown Point, $50 and costs and a six month workhouse sentence for driving while his license was under suspension. All of the sentence except ten nights was suspended.
