The Rev. Armand A. Neveu, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Neveu of 14 Maynard street, Putnam, one of a group ordained into the priesthood March 17 in St. Joseph's Cathedral at Hartford by the Most Rev. Henry J. O'Brien, D.D., administrator of the Hartford Diocese, has been appointed curate at St. Joseph's parish here, as assistant to the Rev. John C. Mathieu, pastor. He was celebrant of his first high mass at 10:45 the morning of March 25 at St. Mary's Church in Putnam.
The Rev. Fr. Neveu is a graduate of St. Mary's parochial school in Putnam, attended seminaries at Bloomfield and Joliette, Can., and completed his ecclesiastical studies at the Rochester, N.Y., Seminary.
