BOXES OF ARMS SEIZED BY THE PEASANTS IN LIMERICK AND CARDAL.
DUBLIN, Nov. 18.—It is now quite evident that the peasantry throughout the country are arming and only waiting for a favorable opportunity to resist the imposition placed on them by the Government. Alarming rumors are continually pouring in from all parts of the island. A dispatch from Craughwell states that a box containing six rifles, belonging to a merchant of Loughrea, arrived from Limerick on Tuesday night. On the same night, according to a despatch from Tralee, a party of men with blacked faces and long beards, visited houses at Cardal, near Castle Island, taking guns wherever they found them.
