ZIONIST MOVE

The Milwaukee chapter of the Avukah, national student Zionist movement, has a debating squad preparing to meet a team representing the University Zionist Federation of Great Britain at Temple Emanu-El community hall, Prospect Ave. and Kenwood Blvd., April 11.

The following Zionist subject will be debated:

"Is It Sound Policy to Present Zionism As the Solution of the Jewish Problem?"

Godfrey Samuel, son of Sir Herbert Samuel, former high commissioner of Palestine and now head of the Liberal party in England, may be one of the members of the British team, the final personnel of which has not yet been announced.

F.; George Webber, B. A., LL. B., barrister at law, Jews' college and London and Manchester universities; Sydney Goldstein, B. A., president and co-founder of the U. Z. F.; Dr. David Perkm of Johannesburg and Leeds universities; Arthur Lourie, B. A., LL. B., barrister at law, Capetown, and Miss Gudansky, M. A., Trinity college, Dublin.

Smoller Is Chairman.

Phineas Smoller, president of the local chapter, is chairman of the general arrangements committee.

Dr. Louis Bachman is assistant chairman. Others in charge of various committees are: Tillie Wasserman, ticket distribution; Harry Grinstein, finance; Sam Lerner, notices; Aaron Shapiro, publicity; Ben G. Slater, entertainment; Frieda Kiatz, program; Avin Sabie, arrangements, and Dr. Eugene Heifetz, speakers.
