NEAR EAST RELIEF TO CEASE CAMPAIGN.

Washington, Dec. 30.—During its eleven years of operation the Near East Relief has collected approximately $105,000,000 and has cared for about a million and a half refugees, including 500,000 orphan children.

These figures were made public tonight in the annual report of Charles V. Vickrey, general secretary of the Near East Relief, prepared for submission to congress after ratification by the board of trustees on January 4. This will be the final meeting of the board and the organization will cease its campaign in this country June 30.
