Billings, Oct. 26.-A fortune will be paid to the farmers of this vicinity next Saturday, when the Billings Sugar company makes the first considerable payment for sugar beets delivered to the Billings factory between September 15 and October 15. But slightly less than the average payday at the factory during the beet hauling season, the sum to be paid out to the beet raisers will amount to $400,000.
One payment has already been made this year, for beets delivered between September 1 and September 15, amounting to about $20,000, but the major portion went back to the company for seed furnished the growers at planting time.
