For our part we do not anticipate the loss of any great amount of heat over the paucity of candidates in this year's Democratic primary. In fact we rather like the set-up under the circumstances.
At present there is only one state-wide contest, that for United States Senate in which two men, including the incumbent on the Democratic ticket, would be on the Republican side seeking the toga now and for a dozen years worn by Senator Paules. In some districts there are congressional fights within majority, but in this region we need not worry about them. As far as memory is concerned, usually small number of entries were rare. In three there was an upset: in the eleventh district history, J. M. If the war is over, however the woods may be full of ambitious to office. But one election at the time bank yes and here will in return assign the big: I when reached. This year's scarcity of candidates is gently surprising in view of toare and the fact that there are a few seekers at other would appear to indicate concurrence of the state in this development.
