Drilled Into Water.

The Carter oil company test in 15-22-4 south of Garber, drilled into water yesterday at 2,235 feet. The well was good for something like 20 barrels before the water was encountered but was much more important than the usual 20 barrels would indicate because it appeared to be in the same sand as the Mid-Co well at Billings and of course the sand covered so large an area it would be important. It is all over now so far as the menace to the price is concerned.

The Garber field is producing 855 barrels from 15 wells.
