Tax Commission To Take In Eleven Million

The State Tax Commission will take in $11,000,000 this fiscal year in luxury, income and sales tax-two million more than anticipated -according to Commissioner D. C. O'Neil, who, with his wife, visited Nogales Tuesday afternoon while enroute from Douglas to Tucson to attend the funeral of Gladstone MacKenzie, clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Pima county.

O'Neil had been in Cochise county on business and it was his first trip away from Phoenix since he became ill in November. His illness lasted about six weeks. He said Tuesday that he is now feeling pretty good.
