Our last Letters from Cadiz brought Advice, that the Captain of a Spanish Man of War from Porto Bello, having a large Quantity of unregistr'd Silver on board, which, it is presumed, he intended to apply to his own Use, to prevent being detected, happening to fall in Company with an English Merchant Ship agreed with the Captain to take the said Silver on board, and to follow him into Cadiz: but whether by Stress of Weather or Design, the English Ship got clear off with the Booty, and has not been heard of since.
