TO CORRESPONDENTS.
The elegant translator of the dedication of "The Arab family" is thanked for his pure version, and his private patronage. We shall be most happy if he will make his classical deposits in the Museum.—Communications from Connecticut are always solid and shining: the gold of that land is good. The tender verses of Myra shall appear. A pious offering to the domestic charities would disarm criticism, even if the fair author had made that offering incorrectly. Monsieur Rigadoon is a most pleasant Marcel. His couplets are striking, and his music approved. He is at liberty to exercise his "fantastic toe," and to dance the hayes through any of our columns.
