NEW-YORK, April 22.

By Letters from Barbados of 23 March last, it appears, they had no Intelligence there, of any Expedition carrying on in these Parts ; and that People were much surprized at Commodore Warren's having carried off several of their largest Ships, thereby leaving the Coast very bare and defenceless.

From the same Place we are informed, that the Snow Recovery of Cork, which was bound to Martinico, and taken by his Majesty's Ship Argyle, was lately condemn'd at a Court of Vice-Admiralty held at that Island.
