PHILADELPHIA, June 10.

Capt. Watson from Montego Bay, in Jamaica, on the 20th of May fell in with Adm. Pocock's Fleet off of Cape Nicholas, where they were waiting for Sir James Douglas's Squadron from Jamaica. He left the Fleet there the 21st ult.

And by Capt. Story, who left Kingston in Jamaica the 16th of May, we learn that Com. Douglas sail'd four Days before him, with 8 or 9 Ships of the Line, and two Bombs, in order to join Adm. Pocock: that on the 22d he saw his Squadron between Cape Tiberon and Cape Nicholas; and that on the 23d one Ship of the Line and the two Bombs, had got to the last mentioned Cape, but he saw none of Adm. Pocock's Fleet. There were left at Jamaica only one Ship of the Line, the Centaur; and the Boreas Frigate.

Com. Douglas's Tender had taken, after a smart Engagement, a large Sloop, full of Sugar, and sent her into Jamaica, but was afterwards taken by a French Privateer.

Capt. Watson on the 23d of May, saw a Vessel ashore on Ackland's Keys, in the Windward Passage.

In Jamaica they had raised about 2000 Negroes for the Expedition, who were all embark'd in order to join the Fleet.

It is said the French Fleet in Cape Francois, had made an Attempt to get out, but finding that some of our Men of War were waiting for and resolved to attack them, they returned.

Capt. Stewart in a Ship from this Place for Jamaica, was taken and carried into Port au Paix, but afterwards cut out by one of our Men of War.
