Full Text
If there is anything that particularly disgusts us with this place it is the tardiness of the mails. If there is an interesting item of news, we are sure to receive it just after we have published our paper. It is simply ridiculous that the Eastern mail should be carried by this place within a few miles of us, when a route through this village would be equally expeditious, accommodate all of the people just as well, and many of them a great deal better, and be a peculiar blessing to us and our county subscribers. We understand efforts are being made to bring about such an arrangement and we hope they may be successful.
