AFTER ELECTION.

Bank Suspension.--The Commercial Exchange Company yesterday suspended payments, and the following notice was issued:

COMMERCIAL EXCHANGE CO.

CHICAGO, March 10, 1856.

In consequence of an unexpected run upon this office, it has been compelled to suspend payment for a short time. The assets resources are abundant to pay all depositors and all liabilities.
