NEW LONDON, January 25.

We are inform'd by one Mr. Ross, that came Passenger in Capt. Skinner, from St. Christophers, who (on his Passage to New-York) put into Newport last Friday, he left Antigua the 14th ult. and the day before he left it, Commodore Tyrrel, with 11 sail of the line, 3 or 4 Frigates, and 4 Bomb Ketches, with 40 sail of Transports, having Twelve Thousand Troops on board, were safe arrived there, all in high Spirits, and that the Commodore did not allow the Troops to go on shore, but sent them fresh Provisions on board, and was bound to sail and attack Martinico.
