School For Orators. We perceive by the Washington papers, that Orator Emmons of Boston, has procured the use of the Representatives' Hall, at Washington, for a display of his rhetorical powers, and that he has invited the members of Congress, &c. to attend. Such an exhibition will probably be of great advantage to the junior members of Congress, for, although they have the benefit of witnessing the unrivalled performances of Kremer, Daniell, &c., yet they will have more confidence in taking, as a model, one who is something more than merely a Congress orator—even a professor of the oratorical art. We hope that the attentions paid Professor Emmons by the great men of the nation, may not wean his heart entirely from his native land, but that, even now, when he has surmounted the "rugged steep," and secured to himself a niche in "Fame's proud temple," he will occasionally turn to New England, which boasts the honor of being his birth place, and illumine our borders with a portion of the light which he now so liberally sheds abroad upon other sections of our thrice happy land.
