J. P. Rundell was 88 years old on Monday, and up to the past year none could boast of better health for his years, than he. But during that time his health has broken somewhat, but on Monday he was well enough to receive the members of his family who came to him to help him celebrate the occasion. Twenty-eight relatives were there. His son and wife, and their daughter, and two oldest sons of Livingston were here, his grand-daughter, Mrs. Roy Grindell and Mrs. Alfred King, and all the nephews and nieces in and around Platteville were present.
