The above we find in the columns of the Raleigh Register and is but another evidence of the union with the black Republicans, which is so persistently denied by our opposition friends.

How can it be otherwise than a union when they assert that their prospects in the next Presidential canvass is brighter than ever before. Is it not patent that in the north the old line whigs do not muster a corporal's guard, and therefore the strength in the canvass without the blacks, must be in the South only, and here they, with the misnomer of Whigery, have failed to carry a single State

Keep up your spirits bro. Syme, by and by you will beg for admission into the conservative ranks of the time honored Democracy; and we may possibly let you in as high private, and then we'll give the opposition Waterloo.
