"BARNEY" VIETHMEYER IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Word has been received here by Mrs. George Veithmeyer, who is visiting her mother, Mrs. Flora Glenn, that her husband, familiarly known to his many friends here as "Barney," received a broken hipbone last Saturday evening when a Ford roadster in which he and another boy were driving home from a basketball game was struck by a shifter on a railroad crossing.

Young Viethmeyer was immediately taken to the Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio, where it is feared he will have to remain for several weeks.

He had planned to join Mrs. Viethmeyer here for the Christmas holidays.
