It appears to us quite probable that neither of the four most important bills, before Congress viz Making an appropriation for the Panama Mission, to amend the Constitution relative to the election of the President;—to amend the Judiciary system, and to establish an uniform system of Bankruptcy, which has occupied so much time during the present session, will pass. Our last dates are to the 1st inst at which time the nomination of Judge Trimble to the vacancy occasioned by the death of Judge Todd, had not been acted on by the Senate.
