MINNIE VANCE SUES ASKS DIVORCE FROM OSCAR ON GROUNDS OF CRUELTY AND HABITUAL INTEMPERANCE.

Minnie Vance today sued Oscar Vance for a divorce in the district court on the grounds of habitual intemperance and extreme cruelty.

Mrs. Vance says that she and her spouse were married at Butte, December 12, 1896, and that for more than two years last past Vance has been guilty of habitual intemperance.

She also charges him with treating her cruelly, and says he threatened to kill her and to cut her throat in June, 1901. She adds that he also circulated false charges against her chastity.

She asks the court for the restoration of her maiden name of Minnie Bryant, for costs, for an attorney's fee of a reasonable character, for a decree and for any other relief it may see fit to grant.
