STUMPING IN TENNESSEE.--The Hon. Ephraim H. Foster and Aaron V. Brown, the whig and locofoco candidates for Governor of Tennessee, have agreed to travel the State together on a stumping expedition. They have published a list of appointments for sixty-one days in the months of April, May, June and July. They promise to attend to the other counties if possible. They have published a list of appointments for sixty-one counties, extending through sixty-one days in the months of April, May, June and July. The election takes place in August. It is an outrage to impose such an amount of labor on a candidate for the office of Governor. It is enough to break down a horse. But, if stumping must be the order of the day, we like this mode of doing it up. A poor speaker would however, stand but little chance of a nomination in Tennessee.--O. S. Jour
