Thursday last His Majesty's Ship Scarborough, Capt. Stott, arrived here in 14 Days from Louisbourg, with Dispatches for His Excellency General Amherst, which were immediately forwarded. By her we have Advices That an Express Boat arrived off Louisbourg Harbour the Day before he came away, in 20 Days from England, and fired a Signal Gun, on which a Boat went off and received the above Dispatches, when the Express immediately bore away for Quebec. Various are the Conjectures of People relating to the same, but as yet nothing has transpired.
