Bre (in France) Dec. 7. Pursuant to orders from court, we are arming here in all haste the following Ships, viz. the Hector and Couronne of 74 guns; the Sage, the Proteus, and Achilles, of 64. To this armament, the destination of which is not mentioned, 6 frigates are to be added. Most of the officers that are to command these Ships, are appointed; and we are assured that 3 new ships more are to be put on the stocks, besides the Royal Louis, which is pierced for 116 guns, and will soon be launched.
