Judge Niblack's Position on the War Question.

"If I am elected to Congress, I will never vote to DRAFT any man into the service; and if I were your Representative now, I would vote to repeal the present law authorizing a draft."

"I will not, if elected your Representative, vote any more men nor money, under any circumstances, for the further prosecution of the war under the policy upon which it is conducted."

"I am totally opposed to the employment of negroes as soldiers, or to the interference by the Government with them, in any way or under any circumstances."
