Rev. W. H. Heard, in speaking of the non-attendance of certain young men acting in the capacity of ushers at Bethel A. M. E. Church, during the 57th anniversary exercises of the said church this week, intimated that some were faithful in the performance of their duties, while others could be found at the pool room on French street. This assertion is damaging to the young men's character, and detrimental to their future success in the community, and therefore he should retract it, or point out the delinquent so that censure may fall where censure belongs.
