The Warren Tragedy.—Joseph Carter, Jr., accused of the murder of the Castner family, in Warren county, New Jersey, and tried some months ago on one of the indictments pending against him, is again on trial on another, growing out of the same transaction. The whole of Tuesday last was taken up in the empanelling of a jury. Mr. Morris opened the case on Wednesday morning on the part of the State, in a solemn and impressive manner, going over the material facts connected with that awful tragedy. An intense interest is manifested in the fate of the prisoner, and various opinions are entertained as to his guilt.
