Since our last a Number of Persons who have
received the Small-Pox by Inoculation at the
Hospital at Castle-William, and Point-Shirley,
have recovered of the same and returned to Town.
Not one Person that has received the Distemper
in this Method has yet miscarried."

It is supposed that upwards of fifteen Hundred
Persons of different Ages and Sexes, have been
Inoculated for the Small-Pox since Liberty
was granted therefor in this Town, which is
but ten Days, and many more at least seven
Eights of the Inhabitants, who have not had
the Distemper, intend to go into that Method,
which has proved so successful in America; by
which Means it is thought the Town will be
clear of Infection in less than three Months.
