LONDON, Dec. 1 (I. N. S.)— Premier Bonar Law may spend most of his working hours in international chess, but he spends his recreative hours pondering over a chess board.
Mr. Bonar Law is said to be one of the few really good chess players in all England. In his home town of Glasgow he is of championship calibre and he gives many of the London chess masters a good stiff game.
Before he became famous in politics he was well known in all of the stuffy tobacco stenched little rooms of London where the chess masters gather and try their skill.
