Frontier Airlines has been tentatively voted authorization to provide local air service over the Hi Line route by the Civil Aeronautics Board. The Hi Line route is between Wolf Point, Glasgow, Havre and Great Falls.
This would be the first airline service to both Glasgow and Havre. Frontier would also add Lewistown, Montana on a new segment extending between Billings and Great Falls. The Board also voted tentatively to authorize an extension of Frontier's system west from Riverton, Wyo. to Jackson, Wyo. and Idaho Falls.

also being served by Frontier would be discontinued. Western Airlines service would also be suspended at Lewistown, Mont.
In this vote the CAB was guided by a "Use it or lose it" policy in which service to any of these points would be suspended or deleted if operations over a period of approximately a year failed to show an average of more than five passengers enplaned daily.
This announcement of new Frontier Airlines service is not the formal decision. It will formally be entered and issued at a later date. This order will add 685 additional route miles to Frontier's present system.
