WASHINGTON, Nov. 27—All restrictions affecting the publications or periodicals have been rescinded except on daily, Sunday and weekly newspapers, the war industries board announced today.
The restrictions were not lifted on daily, Sunday and weekly newspapers, it was explained because newspaper publishers requested that the board continue to exercise control over the use of news print for the present.
However, restrictions on weekly papers will be lifted December 1.
Restrictions governing the manufacture of wall paper and the making and cutting of wall paper designs were also withdrawn.
