Thomas Wright, a Resident of Stanton, Has Both Legs Amputated.

Thomas Wright, a shoemaker of Stanton, came to this city Friday to purchase leather to use in his business. He went to the P. W. & B. railroad station Friday evening to take the 6:08 train for his home. The train was just pulling out when he arrived at the station and he tried to get on the front platform of the rear car. He missed his footing and fell beneath the car, both wheels passing over his legs. He was removed to the hospital room at the depot, where Drs. Ogle and Bullock amputated both legs. He was afterwards taken to the Delaware Hospital, where he died Saturday.
