BLUE DEVIL, CENTER DROPS OUT OF DUKE

DURHAM, Jan. 10. --(AP)-- Frank Sinkovitz, of Harrisburg, Pa., outstanding candidate for the center position on the Duke University football team, has dropped out of school, it was announced here Friday.

Sinkovitz, a 218-pounder, did not play during the past season due to an injury.

The former Marine first lieutenant with a brilliant combat record gave finances as his reason for leaving the university stating that he could not meet his obligations from the amount received under the GI Bill of Rights.
