Full Text

The Lovelock Argus thinks that Sadler displays a stupendous amount of gall running for Congress and that this election will cook his political goose for ever in Nevada.

The Argus is mistaken.

If Sadler only gets ten votes in the election he will be on deck two years from now running for something else.

They tell a story in Eureka that he was offered the nomination of Constable recently and replied, "Yes. I'll take the nomination" and a moment later added, "Oh I forgot. I am running for Congress and the voters might object to me if I ran for two things in the same year."
