Full Text

The American negotiators are returned from Morocco, perfectly satisfied with their reception at that Court, and the success of their mission, having obtained every thing they could wish for from the Moorish Emperor. What is best, and hardly to be credited at that mercenary Court, it cost little or nothing to the American States, their Minister, by a stroke of policy, which is set down for an instance of wonderful disinterestedness, civilly declined accepting of any present in return from the Imperial Court.
