SAILORS RIOT.

Drunken Crew Engage In General Fight and Many Are Injured.

San Francisco, January 22.-News has been received by the steamer Argyll that a riot broke out on the Pacific Steam Navigation Company's steamer Colombia at Panama on Christmas day and that several members were perhaps fatally or at least dangerously wounded. Nearly every member of the crew, composed principally of Chilians and Peruvians, celebrated Christmas by imbibing freely of wine.

There is no report of any deaths as a result of the fighting.
