At the meeting of the Grand Lodge I. O. O. F., at Wheeling, last week, Grand Treasurer W. R. Kelly, of Parkersburg, made the startling statement that he had been robbed on the train of $1,300 of the funds of the order. Although he had been in the city several hours he said nothing about his loss until called upon to report. The circumstances led to suspicion of fraud, and a special committee was appointed to investigate the affair. This committee reported on Thursday afternoon, and the result of their investigation was the expulsion of Kelly from the order and a levy on his property at Parkersburg to satisfy the claim.-Ex.
