Mr. and Mrs. Larson, managers of the Lake Park children's home were in Jessie Lake Monday. They brought with them the two daughters of Mrs. Gallinger.
Mrs. Emma Lind and daughter, Myrtle, went to Grand Rapids Monday where the latter with Miss Peterson, county nurse, went to Phalen Park, St. Paul.
Mrs. Otto Lee and daughter, Lila and grandson of Duluth, returned Monday from an extended stay in Duluth.
Mr. and Mrs. Morrie Montgomery and two children and the latter's sister, Mrs. Larson and brother, Otto, of Langford, N. Dak., arrived Monday to spend a week at the A. U. Widlund home.
Fred Knowles of Spring Lake transacted business here Tuesday afternoon.
Evangelistic services were held on Tuesday evening in the Norwegian Lutheran church.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Westerlund Wednesday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Axel Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson left Thursday forenoon for Garfield to spend the week-end.
Peter Sjolund and Helen Sjolund of Superior arrived Thursday to spend the Fourth with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dowling and children and Adolph Lindgren spent the 4th in Deer River. Others from here were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ingstad and children and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. W. Ingstad, H. J. DeWitt and children, Carl Lindgren, Eddie, Art and Al Ingstad.
Mr. and Mrs. Nels Osberg and children and Mr. and Mrs. L. Johnson returned Saturday to their homes in Minneapolis, having been guests of their cousin, Mrs. John Hagsten and family.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jorgenson Saturday morning.
Rev. A. D. Grant arrived here Saturday and held services in the Baptist church Sunday forenoon and evening.

Ingstad and daughter, Lois, and niece, Lulu Potwin of Cass Lake, Annie Dowling, Cora Cleveland, Hazel Bendix and Lawrence Bendix, Bernard Ingstad, Lila and Edna Lee, Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. B. Cleveland and Lillian and Helen Nelson and Myrtle Johnson.
Rev. Pool of the Northern Bible society of Duluth held services in the Swedish Lutheran church Sunday forenoon.
A wiener and marshmallow roast was held Sunday evening at the Lee Allen place.
