Morristown's Boom.

The CHRONICLE, a few days ago, noticed the departure for Greeneville, S. C., of Maj. A. H. Gregg and Col. O. C. King, two of Morristown's most public spirited and enterprising citizens, and Col. Campbell, of New York, their object being to attend a railroad meeting, whereby the two or three lines of road were to be consolidated into the Carolina, Cumberland Gap and Chicago Railroad.

Major Gregg telegraphs the Morristown Gazette from Greeneville, S. C., as follows:

"The railroad is a fixed fact. Governor Hagood, of South Carolina, becomes president of the consolidated road. Let Morristown boom!"
