The Jersey Blues
TRIUMPHANT!
New Jersey Redeemed!

CHARLES C. STRATTON, Whig, elected Governor—The Senate Redeemed—The House of Assembly, also, redeemed—A Whig U. S. Senator secured!

A magnificent triumph has rewarded the efforts of the Whigs on this sacred Revolutionary ground. The Broad Seal is again vindicated. The victory of the Whigs is one of the most complete they have ever gained in that State, or any other—something like that in Maryland—carrying all the branches of the Government—securing a Whig U. S. Senator, and giving to her honored son, FRELINGHUYSEN, the promise of her vote in November.

Last year the locofoco majority in New Jersey, was, according to the statement of a New York print of that party, 4,000.

Stratton has now nearly 1,500 majority, showing a whig gain of 5,500.

Senate—7 whig majority.
House—22 whig majority. In joint ballot, 29.

Last year about the same against the Whigs.
