David Toth Injured at School

David Toth, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Toth Jr. a 3rd grade pupil of West Geauga school was severely injured on Tuesday on the playground of the Chester school. At afternoon recess, he and others of his class were foot sliding down a steep grade with a fence at the bottom. David slid down and before he had a chance to get out of the way because of the fence, another youngster behind him smashed into his shoulder. He was not thought badly hurt, but when getting ready to go home, David could not get his coat on. His mother was called and the boy was taken, first to Dr. Fowler of South Euclid then to Huron Road hospital. X-rays were taken and his collar bone was found to be broken. He is getting along nicely but he will have to wear the figure 8 brace about a month.
