LOCAL NOTES:

THE VICKSBURG Spiritual Singers will observe their 1st years anniversary, February 14, with a day and night Program, 2:30 and 7:00 P. M., at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Poplar St., Rev. W. M. Curley, Pastor. The Welcome Address will be given by Sis. Annie Bell Strong and "The Founding of the Vicksburg Spirituals" will be given by Rev. W. B. Barnes. Others on the program will be Sis. Truvurie Hall, Bro. Clabe, Bosley, Sis. Lucille White, with special remarks by Rev. Bradley of Waverly, La. Singing groups from both Mississippi and Louisiana have been invited to represent at this Anniversary. Refreshments will be served to everyone. Finance Committee: Sister L. E. Cooks and Bro. James Elmroe. Bro. Roosevelt Rounds, Master of Ceremonies.
