A new foreign correspondent in the N. York Mirror, is making, so we learn, some curious statements in relation to Lady Blessington, Miss Landon, and other female writers of distinction, not very creditable to them. The object of this publication according to the Spirit of the Times is to 'reflect indirectly and injuriously upon him who has for years contributed to the Mirror its most valuable papers;-whose writings, indeed, have constituted almost its entire staple for the amusement of gentlemen,'-which gentleman, we presume, is Mr Willis.
