WADDELL TWINS IMPORT CHRISTMAS TREES FROM RUSSELL

The famed Waddell Twins, Jerry and Billy, have been doing a rushing business in Christmas trees. They hitch-hike to Parsonsage, in Russell County, where they cut a dozen or more small cedars. They are usually able to catch an empty coal truck back to Coeburn. There, they transfer themselves and their merchandise to another truck and eventually land in Clintwood. Here they find a ready sale for the evergreens.
They say they sold one small tree three times last year. How this was done may be found by inquiry.
