We hear from Niagara, that four Sailors belonging to one of his Majesty's Vessels on Lake Erie, deserted from Detroit the 17th of July last, & after a fatiguing Journey through the Woods (having had nothing to eat for ten Days, but an Indian Dog) three of them fell in with a Seneca Indian who brought them to Little Niagara, on the 8th of August, and acquainted Capt. Brown of the same. Capt. Brown made a considerable Present to the Indian for his Trouble, it is supposed the other Man perished in the Woods.

The Indians have promised Capt. Brown to take up all Deserters they meet with.
