County To Have Small Peach Crop

Lincoln county peach trees were severely damaged by the recent cold spells, said County Agent J. G. Morrison today, and indications are that there will be an extremely small crop of peaches this year. As to the apple trees he said it was not possible to estimate the damage, since a number of the trees had not yet bloomed.

Small grain over the county, Mr. Morrison predicted, will not suffer greatly because of the last cold spell and much of that which was damaged by the first spell of cold weather is putting out again.
